I, BSJ, have been coaching Dota since I started streaming back in 2014. While my methodologies have evolved, my number one priority has always been helping the student understand the whys behind their mistakes. I have worked with 100s of students ranging from all skill levels and all positions. As my student, you get to decide what you want to learn. Is it laning, farming efficiency, hero matchups, the mental aspect of the game, all the above, or something else?
All of my coaching sessions are streamed live on my Twitch channel, twitch.tv/bananaslamjamma, so that everyone can learn together as a community. I do my best to make the student comfortable, considering he or she is in front of an audience. The vibe I strive for is that each viewer supports the student and perhaps even wishes they were in his or her shoes getting personalized lessons on their own Dota game.
